Finally after all this time it's here - the final set of results to get the new American Idol. Somehow they are going to pad the show out to a 2 hour spectacular(!), so I suppose that means they are going to bring all the final 12 out again and show Taylor and Katharine's journey on the show.


I hope Taylor wins just because I like the way he sings better than Katharine, I have never been a fan of singers that warble all the time.

Here we go the show starts with Carrie Underwood, singing with Taylor and Katharine. Now the rest of the final 12 have come on stage to sing as well - how sickly sweet, but the crowd seem to like it!!!!


Showing Taylor's home town - and there is one big party going on - some kids have died their hair grey!!


Katharine's home town also has a party going on - McPhever is everywhere.


Tonight all the top 12 sing.

Paris Benett Kicks off singing with Al Jarreau.


Chris Daughtry gets to sing with his favourite band Lime??(don't know the name of them sorry) - still can't believe he's not in the final!!


Kellie Pickler gets to meet Wolgang Puck and he's going to help her choose some food - he wants her to try snails and she's spit it out.


Katharine McPhee is singing with Meatloaf!!! Wow this is actually good. Although Meatloaf looks a little shakey.

I am sooooo pleased well done Taylor - but now what am I going to do on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I have blogged the majority of comments and moments throughout this season I hope you all enjoyed it.
