Nicole Richie went for lunch with Misha Barton in Manhatten, and while Nicole is looking like pregnancy suits her, Mischa was her usual badly dressed self.

Nicole Richie has finally confirmed that she's 4 months pregnant with Joel Madden's baby - ABC News report that the full interview will be on "Good Morning America" Thursday, Aug. 2 and Friday, Aug. 3, and on "20/20" Friday night.

Star Magazine claims that Nicole Richie is having a baby boy.


It has been reported that Nicole is 12-weeks pregnant with Joel Madden's baby. 2 weeks ago Nicole and Joel were spotted buying thousands of dollars woth of "boy stuff" at Bel Bambini.


A source told Star Magazine,

“I asked them if they were shopping for a friend and they said, no. It was obvious they were buying for themselves. When they got to the register, Nicole whispered to Joel, ‘Wait till my dad finds out.’ She was giddy the entire time, and you could tell she was excited to be there.”

Nicole Richie is being quiet on the question of whether she's pregnant, but Page Six are reporting that a good friend of hers says she's definitely carrying Joel Madden's child .

"Nicole is kind of hoping her pregnancy will keep her out of jail,"

the friend said. Richie is facing time due to a DWI arrest earlier this year. But friends are concerned and

"wondering if she can carry the baby to term because of her weight issues,"

Well if it's true it's not a good reason to have a baby!
