Eve Mendes has denied reports that she is dating Joaquin Phoenix. The actress who is in a long term relationship set the rumor mill grinding when, her and Phoenix were spotted having dinner together in New York. New York Post page Six reports a source as saying.

Nicole Caruso, Mendes spokesperson says that the actress was simply socialising with a work colleague, and that they are just friends. Phoenix and Mendes are doing a movie with Mark Wahlberg, called We Own then Night.
