Lindsay Lohan and the soon-to-be-wed Kid Rock (to Pamela Anderson) play backup to David Spade in a karaoke trio of "American Woman" during Spade's 42nd birthday bash at Santa Monica's Buffalo Club on Saturday.





Lohan, who brought boyfriend Harry Morton, also joined Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi on Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and Rock's sister on Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone."

Heather Locklear has a new tattoo on her ankle.


The new tattoo is a heart with a rose and the word "Finch" written above it. Is it a tribute to "just a friend" David Spade, who played Dennis Finch on 'Just Shoot Me'? Nope, says a source close to Locklear:

"It means she's free as a bird. There's no relation to David Spade's character"

Yeah right of course it does!

Heather Locklear enjoys a day out by the beach with comedian David Spade and her eight-year-old daughter Ava.


Heather has been enjoying cosy dinners with the comic, but insists they're not dating. Friends say David has merely been a source of light-hearted fun at this difficult time.

"They're both funny. He's whip-smart, no one can deny that. And so is she."

With her face shielded from the sun by a cowboy hat and white supersize shades, and a plastic spade in hand, Heather looked to be having a good time advising Ava on the tricky art of sandcastle building.
