The official papers were signed Monday afternoon by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon.
Spears's lawyer, Laura Wasser, said

"I think she's okay with the terms. I think both of them would prefer to have more custody, and that can be worked out down the line."
Before the proceedings, Wasser said the couple planned to continue splitting custody 50-50 of their two sons, Sean Preston, born in September 2005, and Jayden James, who was born almost exactly one year after. She would not comment on the couple's financial settlement.
