Visibly relieved at her new found freedom, Paris, wearing a green jacket and jeans, strutted down the steps of the centre and into a waiting limo, giving onlookers a red carpet worthy show.

She was met by her mother Kathy Hilton

The star is already preparing to relive the whole experience with a tell all television interview.

While NBC refused the $1 million Paris was reportedly demanding for her was first interview after her release, she has now agreed to make an hour long appearance on US talk show Larry King Live for no fee.

Paris has said the experience has been life changing, telling American radio host Ryan Seacrest: "You know my gratitude has gone up so much and I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it."

"Frankly [I'm] sick of it and I want to use my fame in a good way."
