Angelina Jolie has her new child - the boy's name is Pax Thien Jolie, born in November 2003, according to the orphanage where he has lived. His name means Peaceful Sky – Pax is peace in Latin and Thien is sky in Vietnamese.

Jolie wrote in the visitors' book of the Tam Binh orphanage, according to Reuters

"Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my son. I am sure he will miss your beautiful, caring staff as much as you will miss him."

Pass the sick bucket quick, i'm all for helping out underpriveliged kids but doesn't charity begin at home? After all there are many children in America who are crying out for help, and where does she get her massive earnings from - yep America - it's not Vietnam or Africa or Cambodia. Oooops sorry there went off on a bit of a rant!!

Well I think that is great of Angelina to adopted children!
And I also think that you were over the top to say something like that! It's great that people go to other countries to adopt other children rather than only in their countries!
Have you ever adopted a child?
I don't think so!!!

No I personally haven't adopted a child but have a friend who is herself adopted, and who found the whole thing very confusing without even adding in the different cultures and the publicity that Angelina will get. And I still stand by my thoughts that there are many children in America who need help, and with people following Celebrities examples are other 'normal' couples going to start looking abroad for their children instead of closer to home.

well 'normal' people still adopt from different countries, so what's wrong if she does it?? just because she is a celebrity people just can't start saying stuff like that to her, she's 'normal' like everyone else in this world!!

No the thing is she's not 'normal' like everyone else in the world (if Angelina is the standard of normal then please god make me normal), she has a responsibility because people look up to her and are so obsessed by 'celebrity' that they think everything a celebrity does is right. What i'm saying that she could help someone who really needs help in the country that she lives and works in, and that if she continually looks to other countries a lot of others may do so as well and if that happens who is going to adopt the kids in America - you obviously don't agree with me and that's fine everyone has their own opinions
