Actress Halle Berry laid on another fine performance when Harvard's Hasty Pudding Drama Group presented her with their Woman of the Year award on Thursday.

Accepting the double-edged honour involves a fair amount of ribbing and horseplay, but the Oscar-winning actress gave as good as she got, writing out "I will not make Catwoman 2" several times on a blackboard and dirty-dancing with a student dressed as a pink poodle for a "Dogman" sketch.

The US's oldest student theatrical group found a willing victim in Halle, thoroughly justifying their belief that "she's a good role model for anyone interested in the arts – and she's just so fun."

Next up for the Hasty Pudding treatment, is Richard Gere, due to be "honoured" as Man of the Year on February 24.
