Lindsay Lohan has a secret fear of being compared to Mary Poppins star, Dick Van Dyke.

It's because she needs to adopt a British accent for an upcoming film role - and she's concerned that her efforts could leave her sounding more like notoriously unconvincing Dick.

Lindsay is set to star opposite Keira Knightley in a new movie about Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.

'It's crazy,' she says. 'If I hang out with a British person for an hour or so, I start talking just like them. I can pick up accents pretty well. But I don't want to be remembered like Van Dyke.'

So many thing to say 1) you will probably be remembered for bum flashing and partying more than anything - 2) no one can ever sound as bad as Dick Van Dyke doing a British accent!!!
