Kate Moss has made her first movie debut in a series of short films for lingerie firm Agent Provocateur's website, and the images have caused such a sensation the site crashed under the demand.


The four films, which will be released over the next few weeks, last just four minutes and show the supermodel acting out a seductive dream sequence in various states of undress. Leaving Las Vegas director Mike Figgis, who shot the films over two nights in a mansion in London's Portland Place, revealed that the beauty was more nervous about her strong Croydon accent than stripping off for the cameras, saying

"She was insecure about her voice. But she's got a nice voice. At the end I said to Kate, 'Listen, you're okay as an actress.'

Kate, meanwhile, had jumped at the opportunity to work with Mike.

"The films look amazing and I'm thrilled with the result,"
