Charlotte Church has stopped Paris Hilton from appearing on her TV show after the American socialite demanded £350,000.


Charlotte, whose debut TV show starts this Friday on Channel 4, said Paris wanted the "obscene" amount to be interviewed.


She told Britain's Radio 1

"We asked Paris to be on the show. I thought it would be funny to make fun out of her because she's such an airhead but she wanted a ridiculous amount of money. Having her on would have cost us the price of a big house - £350,000. It's pathetic. It's not as if she would say anything earth changing."

I hadn't realise that Charlotte's show was going to be so highbrow - so who's she going to have most politicians can't give a straight answer if their lives depended on it, and all actors and musicians are usually plugging their latest venture. So who's going to give her the earth changing quotes that she wants?? By the way I do agree that it's not worth that amount of money just to chat with Paris Hilton
