Victoria Beckham was spotted hobbling around Madrid with painful-looking bunions emerging from her sandals.

It seems years of wearing an assortment of high-heeled and pointed-toe shoes have taken their toll. Victoria was famous for wearing pointed six-inch stilettos when she was with the 'Spice Girls'.

Chiropodist Charles Aihum said that Miss Beckham's penchant for towering stilettos was most likely to blame saying:

'She should definitely be trying to wear flatter shoes, but I doubt someone that interested in keeping up with fashion would pay that much attention to my advice.'

Victoria, has confided to friends about her fears that her bunions could see her crippled by the time she is 40. She is reported to be looking into having a 'bunionectomy' - normally performed on much older sufferers - to chip the bump off the side of her big toe.
