Madonna has confessed she is a "c**p mother.'


The singer, who has a daughter, Lourdes, and a five-year-old son Rocco, made the startling confession as she complained about the ongoing struggle of juggling work and motherhood.


She said in an interview with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi:

"It's a struggle to balance my career with my children. I'm always going, 'Oh God, I'm a c**p mother'. I want to get home and put my kids to bed. And then sometimes, if I'm spending a lot of time with my children, I think, 'Oh God I just want to be an artist.' And you know it's hard."

The 47-year-old singer also admitted that Lourdes - whose father is Madonna's former personal trainer Carlos Leon - often gets frustrated by her mother's fame. She said:

"Sometimes she doesn't want me to come to certain things because she knows everyone is going to pay attention to me and then they'll treat her differently."

It sounds like Madonna has got the same guilt feelings that a lot of working mothers get - Isn't it nice to know that even celebs have the same issues as us?? As for Lourdes not wanting her to turn up to things, well it's understandable. I mean have you seen what she's been wearing recently. Lourdes probably dosen't know if her mum is going to turn up in some purple lurex hareem trouses or not.
