It's finally here, tonight on American Idol we will find out the Final 6 girls and Final 6 guys.


We will soon see if I get it right again this week - or if I mess up completely!!!! Just to remind you I said that Will Makar and Kevin Covais would be going for the guys and that Kinnik Sky and Melissa McGhee would go for the girls.


46 Million votes were cast over the two days.


Bo Bice is here tonight and singing his new single 'The Real Thing' - Same as last week when Carrie sang, this just shows how far the contestants have to go to get to this level.


The girls are up first - here we go:


The girl with the lowest number of votes is Kinnik Sky, she says she is happy to have come this far - Randy says keep working and believe in yourself. Paula says you need better song selections. That's one I got right.


The guys are up now:


The guy with the lowest number of votes is Will Makar he says Thank you for the experience of AI (ahhh bless). Paula is very proud of him, Randy says he's got to work on his vocals and discover who he is. Simon says he handled himself like a gentleman and at whatever he does he will succeed. Hey, I'm 2 for 2 at the moment.


Back to the girls:


The next girl home is Ayla Brown - I did not expect that!! Randy says good luck and keep working, Paula says she is a winner and keep going for your dreams, Simon says it wasn't you it was the song you are a winner. 2 out of 3 for me at the mo.


The guys' turn again:


The next guy home is Gedeon McKinney - He is surprised!! It's not the end just the beginning!! It must have been the teeth.


Well I got 2 out of 4 right, not as good as last week but not so bad. So here are the top 12 on American Idol Series 5.
