It's the last week for the contestants to make it into the final 12. As usual the girls will sing tonight and the guys tomorrow, then on Thursday 2 girls and 2 guys will go.


I really hope that they step up and do a lot better than last week.


Paris Bennett says she is a tomboy and loves wrestling and football, she is up first
Singing: 'Rhythm is Gonna Get You' by Gloria Estafan

I think it was better than last week. Randy said not his favourate song and she needs to challenge herself more but it was OK. Paula says she prefered the up tempo song and was surprised by the song choice. Simon says glad she picked a younger song it was only OK but people like her so they will see her next week. Paris says she is going to dance her way into the top 12 (thought it was a singing contest).


Lisa Tucker loves Jimmi Hendrix and he inspired her to pick up an electric guitar
Singing: 'Where I Stand' by Tiffany Taylor

It's good I think although I don't like the song. Randy says he likes the song although its still older for her, it was just alright. Paula says she sees a seasoned performer but she wishes she would sing a song they could get into. Simon says she is supertalented but she is picking the wrong songs, but they should see her in the next round and they want her there.


Melissa McGhee loves cars and is not such a girly girl.
Singing: 'What About Love' by Heart

I think she is better than last week and is doing ok. Randy says good song for her and she did a good job. Paula says every week she is improving. Simon disagrees and says the last note will get her a ticket home and she has blown it.

I don't think this is good at all!! Randy says started out good but she lost it in the middle she didn't nail it. Paula says she found her style but she was off on pitch. Simon says she just messed it up and was appalling midway and she has booked her ticket home.


Katharine McPhee says she is not quitting AI and she is not pregnant (those are rumors going about at the moment).
Singing: 'Think' by Aretha Franklin

I like this, she is doing a job. Randy says 'We got a hot one right here'!! Paula says its good to see her have a good time. Simon says he agrees with Randy (shock), she pulled it off and made it look effortless and she should sail through to the next round.

Singing: something by Natasha Bedingfield

She is doing OK. Randy says the song was just OK, and she need to show her range off. Paula says she goes out every week and gives her all and did a good job. Simon says it was pretty good but not fantastic and she needs to be 'younger'.


Mandisa she sucked her thumb untill she was 24!!!!
Singing: 'I'm Every Woman' by Chaka Kahn.

Right song choice for her I think, great job. Randy says it was the best female vocal and she is the benchmark. Paula says she owned the song and she got goosebumps. Simon says everyone of the girls will hate her because she made them look ordinary and she is in a different league.


Kellie Pickler is a huge dog lover and is missing her dog Comet from home.
Singing: 'I'm the Only One' by Melissa Etheridge

It's not the best, then again it's not the worst. Randy says every week she has been consistant. Paula says that guys are in love with her and she is adorable. Simon says she is a naughty little minx!!, and he really, really likes her even though shes not the best singer.


Ok so the best for me tonight were Mandisa and Katharine.


The worst were Kinnik Sky and Melissa McGhee.
