Charlotte Church is being lined up as the chat show queen of Channel 4. The singer is set to host her own Friday night entertainment programme.

Channel 4 boss Kevin Lygo said:

"Charlotte is still only 20 years old but she has a connection to the public that few people have.

"How fantastic if we could create this show around a woman rather than a male comedian.

"It would be wonderful to have Charlotte Church doing a fun show on a Friday night."
