So after two months of competition, America has made its final decision and Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke are the new "Dancing with the Stars" champions.

"Whooo! It is perfect timing. Everything kind of happened. I am the luckiest man in the world,"

screamed Drew, also referring to the fact that his wife LEA is expecting their first child, a daughter, any moment.


In an unexpected result Jerry Rice and Anna Trebunskaya came second knocking Stacy Keibler and Tony Dovolani into third place (How!!!).

"I never thought I would get this far," Jerry admitted. "My hat goes off to Drew and Cheryl. I would like to thank my partner. She kept drilling me week in and week out. We never gave up. I am very happy that I decided to take a chance on this."

Have to say my daughter has been watching this series and loving it, but she couldn't understand why the 'Lady with the long legs' had got knocked out by the 'Stiff Man' - maybe when she get older she will realise the power of the public vote!!!!
