It's the Guy's turn tonight on American Idol - lets see if there are any stand out performances from them.

Ryan askes Simon how he would sum up the boys, he says they have potential and they must be original. Paula says they have to be unique and different. Randy says they must be unbelievable cos the girls brought it last night.

singing 'Come to my Window' by 'Melissa Etheridge'

It's OK but I don't like the song. Randy says he could tell he was nervous but it was OK. Paula says he has to stick to what he does best. Simon says it was the wrong song for him and it was an average performance.

singing 'Crazy Little Thing Called love' by 'Queen'

Nope, I'm not crazy about it - the wrong style for Idol. Randy says it was terrible, no originality. Paula says it wasn't horrible(?) and he was true to who he is. Simon says it came over as a bit of a joke but he thinks the audience at home will like him (not in this house on that song) and if he comes back next week he must be more serious.

singing 'Simple Man' by 'Lynard Skynard'
Looks more comfortable 'cos he is singing the right style for him - don't think he will be the next AI though (he's not BO). Randy says don't push it too hard and it was a cool choice for him. Paula says picked a good song for him and he is growing. Simon says he did better than he has done before, but you can see plenty like him in the bars around America.


Will Makar 16

singing 'I Want You Back' by 'The Jackson 5'
He's doing good (but don't do the dance moves next time) - best of the night so far. Randy says he liks him vocally he did his thing and he was entertained. Paula says he was adorable good job. Simon says nice looking kid and cute but vocally it was average - it was just OK.


Jose 'Sway' Panala 28

singing 'Reasons' by 'Earth Wind and Fire'
Not my kind of thing, I don't like the song. Randy says he did the song proud 'dude'. Paula says it was amazing. Simon says he is on a different page to the other judges and that it was Pimpy and 3rd rate. I agree with Simon totally.


Chris Daughtry 26

Singing 'Wanted Dead or Alive' by 'Bon Jovi'
I like this a lot, he is now the best of the night for me (sorry Will you've been replaced). Randy says really really good, you got it. Paula says she is so wowed by him, he was spot on. Simon says good choice of song and for the first time tonight he is hearing someone with potential - superb.

Singing 'One Last Cry' by 'Brian McKnight'
I don't know what to say, it's nothing special and he really doesn't look like an AI. Randy says he like him cos he is talented and that it was the bomb!! Paula says he makes her beam and she wants to squish him. Simon say he likes him but that would appeal to anyone over the age of 90, vocally it was verging on excrutiating. Again I'm with Simon.

Singing 'Shout' by 'Lulu'
He's a bit weird I don't know what it is about him. Randy says it was good he likes the song choice. Paula says he performed it well. Simon says it was like he was watching the warm up for the Chippendales and his smile bothers him!!! Got to love Simon.


Elliott Yamin 27

Singing 'If You Really Love Me' by 'Stevie Wonder'
He's got a good voice but again he doesn't look like an AI. Randy says another hot one, sounded brilliant. Paula says she loves it and it was effortless. Simon says potentially he is the best male vocalist they have had over the past 5 seasons. WOW big praise.


Bobby Bennett 19

Singing 'Copacabanna' by 'Barry Manilow'
Nope, he's got to go - please vote him off America. Randy says it's like he's watching someone from a different era, vocally not good. Paula says they enjoy the entertainment. Simon says it was a complete nightmare, people watching must think that they have gone bonkers.


Ace Young 25

Singing 'Father Figure' by 'George Michael'
He's not the strongest singer but has picked the right song for him. He should go through to the final 12. Randy says he is a star working the camera and the room and he can really sing. Paula says all the girls and some guys will be voting for him. Simon says not the best vocalist tonight but he has the x-factor and will sail through to the next round.


Finally its "The Silver Fox" Taylor Hicks 29

singing 'Leave On' by 'Elton John'
He's is doing OK, got a good voice just doesn't look like an AI. Randy says he is original and he has it going on and he loves him. Paula says he is good, powerful. Simon says he was wrong in saying he shouldn't make the finals - he likes him and the fact that he's just into the singing.


The best of the night for me where Chris Daughtry, Elliott Yamin and Ace Young.


The worst of the night for me were Bobby Bennett and Sway (Although I don't think he will be voted off).


On the whole I think the girls where better than the guys this week. Don't forget tomorrow's the result's show.
