Here we are at the last 'Hollywood Auditions' for American Idol Series 5 - we will soon know who our chosen few are. It's the group round tonight which always causes a a lot of stress for the contestants and the judges so lets see what happens.


99 are auditioning


They are already arguing about the choreography in the groups - its 11pm and they have to choose a song, practice and rehearse to go in front of the judges tomorrow. Some of the groups are practising and some have gone to bed!! Terrell is acting all 'in charge' again and is mad his group is not following his plan. Terrell is still on the war path - THIS IS WHY HE DON'T DO GROUPS!!!!


Breakfast time at the hotel - everyone is tired 'cos they all got so little sleep. Terrell is still whittering - don't sweat it you won't be there at the end anyway. There is so much bitching going on, the groups are not gelling on well at all - what are they going to be like in front of the judges?


10am its Crunch time!!


Paris Bennet in a group with Stephanie Scott and Hannah Freeman. Simon says it was pitiful and had no buzz at all - Paris is through (of course), Hannah is not through and Stephanie is through to the next round.


Anthony Hanson (bad) in a group with Elliott Yammin(OK), Jose Penalla(don't like it), and Terelle Brittenum, and Terelle is bitching about the rest of his group. Simon says that he's a good backing singer and that Elliott was the best. Anthony is a 'No', Terelle is through, Jose is through and Elliott is through. Terelle is full of it! Why do they give him camera time? He is now saying the bad audition is all Anthony's fault!!


3pm


Kevis Covis (OK), Josh Jordan(Bland), David Radford(ok) William Makar(good). They are all through.


Derelle Brittnum (OK) is through but he is having a go at the judges because "his spirit has been broken" - he has quit!!! He thought they had cut Terelle and he overreacted by quittig !!! Oops, that's stupid.


Mandisa Hundley (OK), Brook Barratsmith Sarah Enouen - All OK, I think - the judges think so too, they are all through.


4pm


Lots of groups getting the words wrong in the songs - they should know Simon doesn't like that at all.


Meredith Bandas and Leah Barrat-Smith. Simon says 'horrible performance', Meredith not through Leah not through.


Derelle is back. First he is begging for their forgivness Simon asks the others if they want to keep them in. Simon says he is fed up with his hissy attitude 'You resigned in front of everyone'. He doesn't want to hear any more. The judges will decide in 30 mins if he is alowed back or not. (I hope not).


Celeste Scallone, Shonti Kinik Sky, Tyra Juliette Schwartz and Nicole Turk are all through.


Marcy Smith, Brenna Gethers and Nick Whitten - do not get on as a group - Simon says Nick has had the most difficult 24 hours of his life but he is through, Brenna and Marcy are also through so they have to kiss and make up!!!


The cowboys are up - a great fake trailer for 'Broken-note Mountain' where love is tone deaf (love it)!!! Before that though the Brittneum Twins are back and the judges have said they can stay - booo.


Michael Evans, Matthew Buckstein, Garrett Lane Johnson all really bad (I think) - Simon says they will look back and wonder why the blew it by being bad comedians. None of them are through. Lots of tears (I thought cowboys where meant to be strong - quick pass me a bucket the amount of bull that's flying around I think I may be sick)!!


Day 4
They all have to sing today with no music, from a list of 95 songs. The judges are now making their decisions. They have a hard job to decide which are staying and which are going. The contestants are split into 4 rooms - the pressure is intense


Room 1: Gina Glockson is in this room. Room 1 is going home - total silence and stunned looks, lots of tears


Room 2: is going through to the next round


Room 3: Derelle Brittnum is in this room - they are going through.


Room 4: That means Room 4 are out then and Terelle is going home - but no wait they have changed the routine. Room 4 is through as well


44 contestants are through.


The judges will split them down next time into the top 12 boys and the top 12 girls, can't wait............
