I was reading a report in The New York Post about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had flown from London to Los Angeles with their two children and booked 8 seats in first class, so they had enough space and where not bothered by anyone. The article went on to say that they didn't have any nannies or staff with them and how impressive that was.
Why's it so impressive? Millions of families manage to do it every day and without the benefit of extra seats in first class. They ought to try and keep kids and hubby happy travelling in the economy class - that's impressive. Why is it that everytime a celebrity does anything that is classed as 'normal' we should praise them to high heaven? Have we got to the point where we have placed these people on such a high pedistal, that every thing they do that is normal is, in effect 'abnormal' or 'supernormal'?
OOOH!
