Todays Jake news comes from The New Zealand Herald.

Jake has been doing a interview with Phil Hoad. The basis of the interview is how he does films that 'move' him. He doesn't go out of his way to pick roles that make it hard for him to be put into a box.

As he says "I have no agenda in myself for how I want to appear with other people. My agenda is to tell stories that I care about and that move me. And those were two stories, (Jarhead and Brokeback Maountain), that moved me. I didn't go, 'Oh, if I do Brokeback Mountain, it's not gonna put me in a box.' I'm crying after I finished the script and I'm, like, 'I will do anything to do this movie.' "
Ahh Bless

I'm not going to post the full interview. For that you can go to the following link The New Zealand Herald.
