Shelly Winters Sadly it was reported in Yahoo News that Actor Shelly Winters died on Saturday at about 6.15am (14:15GMT) at the Rehabilitation Centre of Beverly Hills. She was 85.


Winters had been hospitalised in October following a heart attack, but there has been no comment on the cause of death yet.


The Actress whose roles ranged from glamour girls to tramps, was a two time oscar winner for her roles in "The Diary of Anne Frank" in 1959, and "A Patch of Blue" in (1965). She also had two Nominations for her roles in "A place in the Sun" 1951, and "The Poseidon Adventure" (1972).


Winters was much admired for her acting and had a full and varied career. She was married three times and had affairs with the likes of Marlon Brando, Errol Flynn and Burt Lancaster
